Mighty hard nail art prompt for me this time – I almost skipped it. “Cities” is what is supposed to inspire my nails this time around in the #ClaireStelle8April nail art challenge. But – I don’t have any city skyline plates and I can’t freehand. So, what do I do? I go off the rails a bit, that’s what.
I went Art Deco. Not really a city – but there are some cities just teeming with it. San Antonio. London, Miami – and there are pockets of it all over the world. So – that counts, right? I can say my nails are “London” nails…. right? Right. Here’s a pic from London to prove it:
See all those art-deco-y shapes in the carpet? (I have no idea what you really call them) They resemble the pattern I used.
