I bought this bottle – my first bottle – of holographic nail polish right before the holidays. It actually came from the Dollar Tree and doesn’t have any markings on it at all. I had every intention of using it for New Year’s Eve nails – but that didn’t happen. Sickness really disrupted the holidays for my family this year so here we are, well into January, before I got to try it out the first time.
I LOVE the glitter and sparkle in this!
The photo doesn’t do it justice at all.
And while you’re looking at it, let me just say the dry weather is really doing a number on my hands this year! They look like 80-year-old-lady hands! Gross. Anyway.
I wanted something I could wear for a few days because I knew with the activities planned for this weekend, I wasn’t going to have time to go back and do anything else for a bit. I don’t do purple very often, and this is a really soft one.
I have also decided to systematically start using all of my nail art plates. I’m going to try to use every single design I have… first up is Pueen 26:
I’ve used this plate once before but not this exact stamp.
This is the image I was inspired by:

The theme for this week #anmonday was movies so I chose Breakfast at Tiffany's. I used the water spotted technique, plus stamping from Pueen26. My bottle of For Audrey is very well loved. #anm #nails #notd #nailart #aussienails #nailartwow #barbienails #fckyeahnailart #nails2inspire #instanails #ignails #iwantthosenails #nailsinc #nailswag #nailartofinstagram #nailartoohlala #nailededition #nailspiration #nailartclub #nailsoftheday #we_love_nails #craftyfingers #nailpromote #sonailicious #benailed #fashion #girly #bling
I love that color of blue DramaQueenNails uses a lot better than the gray-purple I chose. You live and learn. I’m going to redo my nails in a few days anyway and do something new. 🙂
